The Kettlebell Way to Your Perfect Body Volume 1 Review

Hey everyone! Here is my review of The Kettlebell Way to Your Perfect Body Volume 1.



This DVD is a 40 minute total body workout. It consists of 15, 2 minute rounds, with 1 minute of rest between each exercise. This workout is a great combination of cardio/weight training which allows you to get the most out of the 40 minutes required to complete the routine. If this is your first time ever doing kettlebells I would recommend watching the very well done introduction section and learning how to do all the moves on the DVD before going right into the program.

You will be surprised how fast you see results, and you only have to do it for 40 minutes, 2-3 time a week! This is a great DVD and is worth buying whether you are young or old, a beginner or an expert! A great well-balanced workout!

Kettlebell Workout #1

Hey everyone! This is the first of many kettlebell workouts to come!

The workout: 30 second rest between each exercise

Round 1-
-2 handed swing - 1 minute
-Squats - 30 seconds right arm racked, 30 seconds left arm racked
-Clean and press - 30 seconds right, 30 seconds left
-Figure 8 to a hold - 1 minute
-Snatches - 30 seconds right, 30 seconds left
-Push-ups - 1 minute

Round 2-
-One handed swings - 30 seconds right, 30 seconds left
-Squats - 5 squats right side, 5 squats left side - Do this for 1 minute
-Clean and press - 5 right, 5 left - Do this for one minute
-Figure 8 to a hold - 1 minute
-Snatches - 5 right, 5 left - Do this for 1 minute
-Kettlebell Push-ups - one hand on tipped over kettlebell doing push-ups for 30 seconds, then switching to the other hand on the bell for the next 30 seconds.

Round 3-
-Hand to hand swings - 1 minute of alternating hands after every swing
-Squats - 1 minute of alternating racked arm after every squat
-Long cycle clean and press - 1 minute alternating arms after every clean and press
-Figure 8 to a gun slinger - 1 minute
-Snatches - 1 minute alternating hands
-Kettlebell Push-ups - 1 minute of doing push-ups on the tipped over kettlebell but changing what hand is on the bell after each push-up

Bonus Round- no rest between exercises
Wall-Sits - 1 minute
Plank - 1 minute
Burpees - 1 minute

A killer 30 minute workout!

What is this all about?

Hey Hey Hey!! Justin here and welcome to my kettlebell blog!

First I would like to introduce myself. My name is Justin. I'm a physical education major, and love to play golf and workout with kettlebells! I have been working out with kettlebells for 4 months and can say that they are by far the hardest, yet most fun exercise that I have ever taken part of.

What are kettlebells anyways? Kettlebells are a traditional Russian cast iron weights, that look like a cannonball with a handle. Kettlebell workouts increase muscular strength, cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and flexibility. Unlike these fancy state of the art workout machines that only work one muscle group at a time, kettlebell training works the body as a whole unit (as it was designed to work). Kettlebell workouts are great for both burning fat and building lean muscles!!!

This blog is going to be updated with full kettlebell workouts, rope workouts, sled training, bandit loop exercises, and much more! There is also going to be information on how to build your own workout equipment at home and information about the best places to buy kettlebells. There will also be videos on how to do the different exercises so you can see how to do them properly.
